A perfect venue, a perfect day

Kimberley and Matthew had their wedding at the incredible Gosfield Hall, in Essex. The venue is stunning and set the scene for an absolutely beautiful wedding.

All prepared and pampered, the wedding party waited for the guests to assemble in the Queen Charlotte's Gallery.

It's very often difficult to hold back the emotion of seeing your beloved that first time on the day - all the preparation and planning has all come to a head and you're here. Matt's face says it all.

The wedding ceremony always seems to fly by, and after some indoor formal shots (the rain came at just after a group photo of all the guests) we were quickly on to preparations for the breakfast. Another incredible room in Gosfield Hall, lovely warm speeches and a great meal - I snuck off to have some food and a few minutes to gather my thoughts and back up some photos.

Then on to the evening, where the party started early, Kim couldn't help but dance!

After an amazing (and pretty exhausting) day, there was time for one special shot (you can see it at the top of the page) I took my leave of the festivities and headed home. As always, the first job is to back everything up (multiple times), ready for the morning when I'll start the job of collecting and editing the images from the day. This is a long process, so I won't bore you with it here!
