Colette & James

It's one of the most precious days in a couple's journey together and I'm always honoured to be a part of it.
Whether it's a cool little venue with a handful of guests, or a cathedral, with hundreds, I'm always really excited to be there.

Just fill in this form and I'll get back to you asap - or skip that and call me directly on 07730587462 and we can talk right away.
Getting in touch carries no obligation to hire me, it's just great to have the chance to talk through what you require. If you're happy, there's a contract to sign, a booking fee to pay and then we're set!
Often wedding planning is an ongoing process, so please stay in touch in the run up to your wedding.
If your package includes an album, I'll make sure you're completely happy before anything is sent to print. this includes unlimited revisions and changes. You can add more pages, or switch photos around as many times as you like. There are loads of extras available too, including smaller copies for parents and friends.
So much goes into the planning of a wedding, it's key that I know what's important to you
Getting to know you - I love to have a meeting on zoom, or a phone call to find out about your wedding and for you to ask any questions you might have. There's no obligation to book - the ball is in your court.
Contract and Booking Fee - if you're happy to hire me, then these secure your date for you.
Engagement Photos - this is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera.
Questionnaire - let me know all the final details just before the wedding.
Your wedding day should be carefree and fun, so you can concentrate on soaking up every detail. I try to stick to these key principles throughout the day:
Prepared - there are often 3 or 4 things happening at the same time at a wedding - being prepared means I can be in the right place at the right time.
Adaptable - even the best planned events can still go off track, and the last thing you want is the photographer flapping about as well.
Fun and professional - It's one of the greatest days that life has to give us, nothing should get in the way.
Backup - Images are backed up in three places immediately after the wedding (not a very sexy detail, but important...)
Preview - In the week after your wedding, you'll get a little preview of some of your images.
Blog Post - I'll write a little blog post along with some photos for your to share.
Gallery - Within six weeks of your wedding, I'll send you a link to a gallery of your images. You can download and share them from here if you wish.
Design - once you've had a chance to look at your images, you'll be invited to choose the images for any products included in your package.
Yes, a non-refundable £250 booking fee and signed contract secures the date for you. The remainder is due 6 weeks before the wedding.
Of course! Part of our initial meeting is discussing your priorities for the day. We can work together to find a balance of photography that works for you in the context of your wedding.
On average 40-60 per hour. I'll take many more than that and I'll carefully select the images that tell the story of the day and meet my own exacting professional standards
To be honest you probably don't want to! One of the more time consuming tasks after a wedding is to go through each photo and select the absolute best expressions, lighting and composition for the many thousands of images from a full day wedding. Plus, the files that come from pro cameras are large and difficult to view without specialist software. For these reasons, I don't offer to show all the photos from a wedding day, but you'll see the absolute best from the day.
Yes, the keepsake and storyteller+ collections include a second photographer.
There are lots of reasons why a wedding might be cancelled or postponed. If you have to cancel the wedding with a reasonable notice period, you will receive back everything you have paid, less the deposit. I'm happy to hold over the deposit for another date as long as it's booked within one year from the original wedding date.
Yes. The deposit must be paid first, and then we can arrange a payment plan for you, as long as the final balance is paid 6 weeks before the wedding date.
I'm always excited to get images to wedding couples as soon as possible.
The turn around time for a full wedding is 6 weeks at most. Editing a wedding is incredibly time consuming and incredibly important to get right. Often in the week following the wedding I will post a preview on social media and then in the weeks that follow I might post a blog post with some additional images. Rest assured I'll get your gallery to you ASAP!
Yes! If you love each-other and you're going to have an awesome wedding, then I am 100% there for you.
It's never happened - but if disaster strikes and I can't come to your wedding, I promise I won't leave you without a photographer that I know and trust. I have a network of colleagues, who I can call on to photograph hon my behalf, and I'll edit and deliver your images.
